When you were 10 years old, what did you want to be when you grew up?
An artist or cartoonist. I would doodle and draw constantly. I also thought the idea of work was the equivalent of torture.
If you had to switch AW teams for one week, which department would you work in?
SEO. While I have only been involved with it on a limited basis, I am fascinated by the organic marketing aspect of website content. I would love to get a glimpse of the strategic aspects of that work.
What’s your favorite part of being a web developer?
The blend of technical and creative. It allows for creativity in problem solving and uses both sides of the brain. I think that’s kind of cool . . . and challenging, but mostly cool.
What inspires you?
I am always seeking out universal wisdom and concepts that follow natural law. I still love looking at graphics, free drawing, and anything raw and expressive.
What’s the weirdest thing on your desk?
Too many Post-its. Yes, I know. I work in digital media. I guess anything that keeps me in touch with the physical world is a good thing. I also like making task lists and throwing them away when I am done. It is gratifying.
