How do you spell company culture?

Here at A&W, we spell it Y-U-M-M-Y. The talents of our staff go beyond the studio and conference rooms straight to the kitchen. And nowhere was this more apparent than during our Thanksgiving “Turkey’s Best Side” competition. The recipes emerged from the recesses of holidays (and restaurant visits) past to grace our table and please our palates.

The turkey was prepared and delivered to our office from The Garage Eatery, and served up good and hot by A&W’s culture committee.

Tricia surprised and delighted us with mouthwatering mini-marshmallow-topped sweet potatoes.

Barbara’s Thankstring Beans Italiano were wonderfully seasoned and cooked to al dente perfection.

Kevin brought in his Mom’s tasty twist on a dish that no turkey day festivities should be without: pineapple stuffing.

And Liz’s appealing homemade applesauce paired beautifully with the turkey, and her delectable apple crisp brought it all together at dessert.

But the winner, by a landslide, was Sheira’s Vidalia Onion Pie, a creamy blend of cheesy goodness and buttery crust topped with crispy flavorful vidalia onions. Congratulations Sheira!
