Digital advertising, branding and marketing agency Austin Williams today officially unveiled its new identity, featuring a new, contemporary logo and officially announcing its move to new class-A office space with a modern, open-office design evocative of its new identity.
Austin Williams (AW) President Eva LaMere says the moves underscore changes in the DNA of the Agency over the last several years as it has grown. Since the start of the year alone, AW has hired three new employees, including SEO Strategist, Digital Analyst and Integrated Project Manager. Last year, it expanded its capabilities to include a public relations practice and rolled out new technologies including a real-time programmatic digital trading platform for placement of paid advertising.
So far in 2018 the Agency has also signed five new clients for advertising and marketing services and an additional three for public relations services. Austin Williams has additionally expanded its client footprint beyond Long Island in recent years, throughout the Northeast to the South, across the disciplines of healthcare, higher education, financial services, professional services and real estate.
“We’re not the same Agency we were even just a few years ago. To keep pace with our growth and respond to how we have integrated our work teams, we’ve built an environment and culture to foster the collaboration and creativity that drives our business,” said LaMere. “Our new logo and our new offices are a literal reflection of that transformation, as we redefine who we are in the marketplace and what we bring to our clients and their businesses.”
At the core of the new identity is the redesign of its logo and wordmark. The logo is a modern, stylized monogram of the Agency’s initials, built upon layers of translucent colored triangles in primary colors of blue, red and gold, which overlap each other to create additional shapes and three secondary colors. The design is formed from equilateral triangles on a grid of 60-degree angles. The new Austin Williams wordmark consists of the agency name written in all lowercase letterforms in a combination of two type styles; “Austin” is set in a traditional serif type, while “Williams” is in modern sans serif font. There is no space between the two words in the wordmark (and we’ve eliminated the ampersand). The Agency tagline—Ideas that Inspire Action—remains.
“Our new logo speaks to who we are and where we are going,” says Chief Creative Officer Rick Chiorando. “The addition of multiple colors to our logo expresses the new diversity of services and talents we bring to our clients.”
The new identity is also reflected in Austin Williams’ new, modern offices located at 80 Arkay Drive in Hauppauge, NY. Totaling 16,000 square feet, the space is filled with glass, wood and metal finishes that complement contemporary lighting making bold statements. The space is also infused with fun: walls are painted in the new agency dominant colors of red and orange. Different areas of the office have been designated with curious nicknames, including “The Lab” (main conference room), “The Runway” (collaborative hi-top seating space with whiteboard-topped tables for creative brainstorming), “The Stadium” (play area with couches and foosball table) and “Town Square” (filled with bleacher-like seating for large group meetings and fun interactions).
“We wanted to make it a place where you look forward to coming to every day,” says Chiorando. “Our teams have embraced the change, and our clients love coming to visit.”
