Working in higher education marketing, it’s interesting to watch the face, habits and behavior change of its ever-evolving primary target audience: teenagers.
Just when we’re starting to understand Millennials, a new generation is emerging. Say hello to Gen Z. Members of Generation Z, sometimes referred to as “Generation Edge,” were born in the mid-’90s to late 2010. The difference is both amazing and significant from the previous generation and span many areas: they’re the first generation born into the digital world, they care about our economy and our planet, and they’re the most diverse and multicultural of any generation in the United States.
Here are just a few points of comparison:

Marketers stay tuned. I’m sure there will be much more to learn about Gen Z in years to come.
